Mika Matcha is a branding concept created for a modern matcha company, blending tradition with contemporary appeal. The visual identity centers around the maneki-neko (beckoning cat), a symbol of good fortune in Japanese culture, paying homage to matcha’s cultural roots. The brand palette is inspired by the rich, earthy tones of ceremonial-grade matcha, while the typography draws influence from traditional Japanese lettering to evoke authenticity. I designed two packaging variations — one in vibrant green and one in clean white — to showcase both English and Japanese language versions, offering flexibility for diverse market appeal.
